hotel is a 4 block walk to the beach/wharf and walking seems to be the
best way to avoid traffic. It's been a long day, I'm a little tired
and I have to get up around 5 tomorrow, so I'm calling it a day. Most
of you know there's only one thing that gets me up at 5....
planning, making reservations, posting pictures, and blogging . . . you are way out of this farmwife's league. The mere idea of having to register to comment is intimidating. It appears you had a happy adventure.

Wow, Jan. Loved the pictures. Maybe we should read Cannery Row...I think it is by Steinbeck in honor of your trip to Monterey. I tried to write on your blog, but for some reason couldn't. So I thought I would just email you. Fun to follow your trip...no pressure to keep up the good pictures and notes. Okay, not sure what would get you up at 5 am....rowing is my first thought....but maybe I don't know you as well as I thought. Anyway, have a great time...I'm living it with you. See you soon.
